Inguinal hernia: This is the most common type of hernia that occurs on the underside of the abdomen. It occurs more in men than in women. It is found in males in the groin.

Umbilical hernia: It is an abdominal hernia in which a part of the patient's intestine comes out of its membrane. It is also quite common, especially in children under six months. It heals itself when the abdominal muscles are strong. If the child turns one year old and does not recover, surgery is done to correct it.

Epigastric hernia: This hernia occurs in the center of the navel and ribs. It is common in both children and adults.

Femoral hernia: It occurs in the thigh and is more common in women. Most femoral hernias show no symptoms of any kind. However, sometimes it can cause serious problems. Apart from this, there are sports, incisional, lumbar, parastomal, parastomal and hiatal hernia.
